3. Is it free to list items on youlyst?

Yes, some of the categories are free to list. However, premium categories such as real estate, vehicles, jobs, electronics, business services and few other may include a listing fee to maintain quality and reduce spam.

4. Why are some listings paid?

Paid listings help ensure higher quality, reduce scams, and give your post more visibility in competitive categories.

Account & Profile

1. Do I need an account to use youlyst?

Yes, creating an account is required to post listings, message other users, and manage your activity on the platform.

2. Is creating an account free?

Yes! Signing up and browsing listings is completely free. You’ll only pay if you post in a premium category.

3. How do I create an account?

Click “Sign Up” and register using your email, Google account, or social media. You’ll need to verify your email to start listing.

4. Can I change my email or password later?

Yes, just go to your Account Settings to update your email, reset your password, or manage personal info.

5. How do I edit my profile information?

Log in, visit your profile, and click Edit Profile to update your name, photo, contact preferences, and more.

6. I forgot my password — what should I do?

Click “Forgot Password” on the login page. We’ll send you a link to reset it securely.

7. How do I delete my account?

Go to Account Settings > Delete Account. Once deleted, your listings and messages will be permanently removed.

8. Can I have multiple accounts?

We recommend maintaining only one account per user to ensure transparency and trust in the community. Duplicate or fake accounts may be removed.

9. How is my personal information used?

1. How do I create a listing?

Log in, click “Post a Listing,” choose your category, add photos, price, description, and location — then publish.

2. How long does my listing stay live?

Free listings stay active for 15 days, while paid listings in premium categories may have longer durations or visibility boosts based on plans.

3. Can I edit or remove a listing later?

Yes, go to your dashboard to make changes, mark items as sold, or delete the listing anytime.

1. How do I contact a seller or buyer?

Use our secure messaging system to chat and arrange a meetup.

2. Can I hide my contact details?

Yes, your personal information is never shared unless you choose to disclose it.

3. Where should I meet someone for a transaction?

Always meet in public, well-lit places — like coffee shops, malls, or police-designated safe exchange zones.

4. Does youlyst handle payments?

No, youlyst does not process transactions. Buyers and sellers agree on payment and complete it in person or through a trusted method.
